Terms of use
Last updated: November 2026
kto-zaplacil.pl is a free, open-source tool that checks whether payments in a bank statement carry a KSeF number or a collective identifier (IZ) in the title, and matches them to sales invoices. By using it, you accept the terms below.
1. Open licence GNU AGPL-3.0
The source code of kto-zaplacil.pl is released under the GNU Affero General Public License version 3. You may use, modify and distribute it, including commercially. If you distribute a modified version or make it available to others over a network (e.g. as a website), you must publish its source code under the same licence. The full licence text is in the LICENSE file in the GitHub repository.
2. No warranty
The tool is provided "as is", without any warranty, express or implied. We do not guarantee that it will recognise every statement format, find every KSeF number, or that matching payments to invoices will be complete and error-free.
3. Limitation of liability
kto-zaplacil.pl is not tax, legal or accounting advice. The author is not liable for wrong matches, invoices marked as paid or unpaid, KSeF issues, tax penalties or any other losses resulting from using the tool.
4. Your responsibility
The result is a hint, not a settlement. Before acting on it (e.g. sending a payment reminder or booking a payment), check the result against your bank statement and your accounting system. The tool does not replace an accountant or knowledge of current regulations.
5. Free
The tool is free: no limits, no hidden costs and no user accounts.
6. Privacy
The statements and invoices you load do not leave your browser. They are processed locally, and no data from them is sent to a server. See the privacy policy for details.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by Polish law. Disputes are settled by the locally competent common courts.
8. Contact
Send questions about these terms to kontakt@kto-zaplacil.pl.
